Removing more than half the maps from the rotation for no reason? (128p)

What is the reasoning behind taking a game which only has 11 maps (an utter disgrace btw) then go like:

"Wow that seems to be way too many, playing different maps is no fun at all. Why don't we just remove most of them and force the players to play on only 4 maps every single day?"

And this isn't the first time, this keeps happening again and again.

This wouldn't be a problem if they keep the base game modes alone and then offer these other modes along with the main rotation. Then you'd have options.


But removing 7 out of 11 maps for the base mode this game launched with, what purpose does this serve?

Not getting to play more than half the content of the game with an already miniscule amount of content to begin with is just borderline insane decision.

  • @mimi0xi I personally hate 128 player modes and judging by most of the comments and threads across here, twitter and reddit , most agree with me.
    The big mode has horrible flow, too much randomness, and atrocious hit registration.

    32v32 is by far way more enjoyable ……… but with that being said, they need to keep both modes in permanently with access to all the maps for each sized mode so everyone can enjoy what they want at any given moment.

    This weekly rotation crap is just a disguise to make people think they are getting fresh content…….. WE ARE NOT MORONS DICE…… just put both Conquest sized modes in there permanently with all of the Maps available to both modes. That way we will not be bored or frustrated out of our damn minds waiting for a week to pass to play the mode we really want to play.

    @OldSkoolzFinest I agree with you about the chaos but I haven't found 64 player mode to be much better. Primarily because there's other things that are wrong that are causing this chaos, not just the player count.

    Just because they shrunk the map doesn't mean it plays better. Some maps are even worse as 64 because obviously they have all been designed for 128 so the same capture points still remain and the massive distance between them. Then there's awful spawn points, general lack of balancing, cheesy gadgets and so on.

    There should be permanent 64p and 128p modes, and then they can add whatever flavor of the week they want.
  • @mimi0xi Can’t argue with you about that….. their whole design philosophy was a disaster from the get go. Now we’re left with trying to choose whats best from the scraps.
