My experience in the very limited Beta was playing as an antitank warrior and spending 90% of my time looking for ammo. Nobody carried it and I could never find it marked on the map.
@BGHFlakjacketYup was the same with revives and medkits. I think people hate the gadget system. I tried medic and I said F this when I realized the stupid paddles have to charge up. You didn't even need med kits as the health regen was so fast.
Behind a pay wall? You mean included in the price of the game?
As I said in another thread, why must everything be free? We now get all DLC free because people whinged and now you want more free!
Alas, everything around BFV was far from a stellar success for numerous reasons so a free Firestorm would have made little difference.
For what it is worth, I enjoyed the occasional foray into Firestorm......
- @Trokey66 Not everything, is clear for us i think, the problem here is the player base, I ve said in other thread this too looking all modes we have now it's almost certain that a good part will remain on the Portal if they dont fix the wf "problems" for exemple is like the undertaring modes of cod, all players stucks in TDM, for BF in special 2042 the players are opinions divided about WF, the core of Battlefield is conquest maybe all of us test this HZ and this mode will die in some weeks like firestorm has died, if we have more players having fun the lifetime of mode grow, and a f2p for this mode joins perfectly i really not understand why this decision as made, but let see
@Trokey66 I mean to say that if the goal is to attract more players, the best way to do that is create one mode (HZ in this case) as free to play. Gives a taste like WZ did for new players who may be interested in the franchise
- @TONYBOY56--_ I agree too. In addition to hackers a potencial problem of f2p, is the best way to engage new players in Bf and life HZ off "pay wall", we have much potencial here looks very fun to play

@TONYBOY56--_ He compares Hazardzone to CoD Warzone, and I believe he is right, Warzone wouldn't be as popular, if people had to buy the Full CoD Game.
@kregora And don't get me wrong, I realize they are going to be very different games with different player counts and play styles. My argument is just that if it's in the interest of EA to maximize their game's popularity, they're making the same mistakes as they had with Firestorm to do so. Marketing only does so much, most times.
Trailer didn't show anything, so i looked for the official info post here in the forums. Not really interested in that mode. They should make it F2P and give us a class-based battlefield for purchase instead.
