@OSpazX ^ that's the way I usually play too.
Good advice about the other ammo types as I think people sometimes forget about that.

@UP_Hawxxeye I'd love for that feature to return.
honestly the chances one gets to live enough to run out of bullets with all the mag slots filled are really small.
Meanwhile we are out of gadget ammo right away

Hello, thank for your suggestions.
But I think changing the type of ammunition can be useful for the other classes, but for support with Angel, given the reaction times by pressing ( on xbox ) Y and right Dpad at that point I'm quicker to reload by holding down left Dpad. Not to mention that changing ammunition can also reduce the damage, bullet speed, size, range etc, it is a valid compromise for the other classes, but with Angel support I can refuel first, and in the end the problem remains, and can be solved simply by giving double the magazines as it was on BF 3-4 with the ammo bonus, simple.
In battle, the only thing that guarantees your survival as well as skills and luck are ammunition.
I don't understand why there have to be such banal limitations here, on battlefield 3 and 4 everything was much better.
Another very frustrating thing is that they say to write opinions here but in the end we find ourselves talking only among us players, for some things it can be helpful, but for suggestions to improve the game it is useless because who can change things he hardly reads this, I created another post asking to add urban maps, and nothing, I wonder what's the point of writing the suggestions here if they aren't read by those who can make a difference.

@George_M951Even if "they" read these posts, what are you expecting?
1 person's request to be immediately implemented? What about 100 people? That's a tiny drop in the player bucket.
Development doesn't work that way. First, any changes need to make their way through whatever management the development team has.
If they all approve the change, it then needs to be implemented, and the updated code needs pushed out to all players.
It might seem trivial "just increase the number of mags", but there are other things to consider.
> What about the non-bullet ammo?
> How does increasing the mags affect the game overall?
> Will there be twice as many bullets flying around at any time?
> Will it change the game to being more "spray and pray" and less of a strategic "I should stop shooting, because I'm not really hitting anyone"
> Would it make the Support Class worth a lot less than it is now? If no one needs ammo, why have anyone running around to supply ammo?
> Should carrying more ammo affect the mobility of the soldiers? More weight = slower. More mags should mean it's more cumbersome to do anything. Getting up from prone would be harder to do, as you have more weight, and more objects. Think of it like a normal tool belt. You know the type... a hammer, a couple screw drivers, nails, screws etc. That belt affects your mobility dramatically. Climb a ladder with a full tool belt on. Now, keep the same belt, but double everything.. ie, 2 hammers. (or, have 2 full tool belts on).
While you may have increased ammo... so will everyone else.
One of the staples of the BF games is team work.
Whilst they did about the worst job they could at releasing a game before it's team work was even properly developed (hello.... looking at you voice chat....squads....etc), team work is still a principle of the BF games.
1 person cannot win against 32 or 64... (remember when they said 128v128?). 1 person cannot normally take down a vehicle - you need people working together.
That includes support personal.
