Retail Pre-Order Battlefield 2042 and Beta Access

If I purchase Battlefield 2042 from a retail outlet in the USA such as Best Buy or Game Stop, will I get Beta access?  From the EA.com website it appears you would only get Beta access if you purchas...

@KOT-RottenDeslok Everyone will be able to access the beta, as it's an open one, but pre-ordering gets you early access.

In theory this should be the case when buying from a different retailer, but you'd probably be best referring to the information they're showing on their product pages.

So it's a great occasion to test your game if you have a low GPU, to see if it works. Then, you can decide if you want to buy the game or not.
