I would not be surprised if the change for the SPH somehow affected the underbarrel launchers too.
Cause there is no reason to nerf the smoke variety
@UP_HawxxeyeAP too. I actually agree to nerf HE and Fire launchers because they got spammy even on bigger maps.
But smoke and AP should've stayed at max 3 ammo to help players move around and fight vehicles.
- NekoNoShingekiV2 years agoNew Traveler@UP_LordPlumber No, in my opinion, the under-barrel grenade is not much of a problem because of APS and SDS, as well as the TGM and so on. SPAM is also defensible because of SDS.
If they are nerfed, DICE should nerf their damage and trajectory.

This exactly. Nerfing AP is huge. Anyone could have 3 AP. But you had to be using one of four weapons. And it wasn't OP to use.
Also I would argue HE is the worst of the bunch. Incendiary is just for Dozer.

Still no new info regarding this unnecessary nerf to ammo on underbarrel 40mm? And still nothing more on the spammy Scatter grenades either?

HE is not a problem anymore since its inner kill radius was nerfed in a previous patch during season 4 possibly 4.1 or 4.2 I believe (also without being in the changelog back then as well). Was easily noticeable by me back then. It requires almost a direct hit at the feet to kill now so its nowhere near being OP at all, unlike for example sundances scatter grenades which are now spammed everywhere.
Revert the ammo changes for all 40mm ammo types DICE, excluding the SPH of course since that one is much more powerful in its inner kill radius and easier to use. That change was fine.
