RTX 4070 Ti & 3840 x 1600 Resolution

Anyone have a 4070 Ti and running the game at this resolution (or higher), and if so, what type of FPS are you getting? What setting - Ultra, High, Medium, Low? I have the Alienware 38 inch running at this resolution and looking to possibly get the 4070 Ti to pair with it. Built a new PC and just waiting on a good deal to come along for the GPU.

Been playing the game through GeForce NOW  until I get a GPU for my new build. It's mostly a laggy mess, but I'm just mainly trying to learn the game and maps until I get a GPU. I picked up the game in March, so still learning some things.

By the way, the game is fun.

Thanks in advance!

Normally running at that resolution makes your PC GPU-bound.

BF2042 is hard on the CPU, but 3840x1600 is a lot of pixels and any GPU will have a hard time at that resolution.

At launch a 3090 did around 100 FPS on medium settings at 4K (according to these benchmarks: Battlefield 2042 Benchmarked | TechSpot). The game has been optimized since then though and probably performs a little better today.

  • @Doo-Doo-DrawsI run 7900XTX on same resolution max settings. This is more or less 4080 level performance. I rarely see FPS get below 100. Usually it's 100-110. So you should be seeing 85-90 average
