Rush XL Replacing Rush

Question

Please stop replacing Rush with Rush XL, sure, feature in portal or something but replacing them as if they are the same type of match is frustrating. I have 900 hours in this game, the vast majority are playing 16v16 Rush. People don't play XL Rush to play Rush, they just want farm kills or sit back and snipe the entire time. 16v16 Rush is the closest thing that BF2042 has to something competitive and balance, and switching it out for nade spam and kill farming sucks.

Also, way too many vehicles were added to 16v16 Rush. A whole suite of vehicles in some these maps is excessive.

A wildcat on Noshar is very tough too. The helis on the carrier were meant to balance the fact that you were spawning on a carrier.

Regular, small-scale Rush is my true love on thr Battlefield, even more than knifing for tags; while i'm addicted to the absolute cluster and farm fest XL can be, I think it'd be best to always have the OG available

As much as I prefer XL to regular Rush, I have to agree that a mode you predominantly play being replaced with something you don't like is annoying.&nbsp;

I really hope Dice move away from the rotating game modes in the next title.&nbsp;

@ElliotLH Rotating game modes are OK, but not for franchise staple modes!
In the next game there should be on the main screen a main button with 4 choices: Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush (normal 16v16) and TDM which should always be available. Within Conquest and Breakthrough you could add subchoices for 64p and 128p, but personally I wouldn't mind if they went back to their core and only offer 64p.

And then there should be a second button with featured rotating gamemodes where they can put these deviations such as Rush XL, Control, Shutdown, Killswitch, FNB and whatever else.

@RanzigeRidder2  I could live with that. Wasn't the biggest fan of it in BFV admittedly, mostly as the limited ones I liked didn't seem to come up much, but it'd be a vaaaaast improvement after this game.

@DaBovineGeniusAgreed 16v16 imo is one of the staple modes of Battlefield, together with Conquest, Breakthrough and TDM. As such it should always be available!
