... is one of the worst maps of BF4. Thank goodness this one is located in Russia, so no, this is not it (also, the tracks were along the river and over the bridge IIRC and not as shown in the screenshot we have from the new map)

To me, the screenshot looks a bit like 'Kiasar Railroad' from BF3, but as this is located in Iran and not Czech also rather unlikely. I also did not enjoy this map that much on CQ, but I have fond memories of riding motorbikes there for the CTF game mode.

Yeah gone are the days when we could look forward to 4 new maps every 3 months.

Personally I preferred the Premium Pass over the current Live Service.

@RayD_O14 - 5 maps in a 19 month period is just poor all round.

Live service is just a easy revenue stream selling trinkets as content. Skins and camos! They're selling skins for the equivalent of a DLC pack. Skins and camos which look GSCE digital design level at that. Keep all the interesting stuff behind the paywall, throttle the xp points just enough that it tempts you out of your pocket to purchase a skin. See this with every in game shop now! Personally think it should be illegal. 

If they can't make enough content (maps) in house, then they should outsource to a 3rd party company, something Polyphony did with GranTurismo 7. Thought they (Dice) have like 3 studios working on this game. You wouldn't think it by the frequency of maps. But they always have a new kit to wear in the shop! 

I detest Live services with a passion, cannot name one which hasn't been a car crash. 

This was clearly going to be a Portal map that they just brought over to AOW to stretch out for an additional Battle Pass (more revenue). 

Notice that there has been no discussion about anything beyond S5, only one map, and no new Specialist? Even though they talked about Year 2, it's only going to be S5, which is going to be even more of a half-baked season.
