Hi everybody!I am wondering, why the scoring differs this much from former BF titles where XP was equal to score.Every action you did, contributed to your overall score on the scoreboard.In BF2042 only 4 activities are scored:- Kills: 2 points- Assists: 1 point- Revives: 2 points- Captures: 3 pointsBut what about healing, resupplying, spotting, repairing, hacking, ....?They give XP, that's correct.But why is your effort not scored on the scoreboard?Please DICE, keep this in mind at least for the next BF title!All fellow support players are at the bottom of the scoreboard for no reason.

easy fix is put the XP system in the bin and throw it out the window. then go back to the old score-system and do not try and reinvent the wheel again

@Kaktusfresser Not sure if you were around for launch, but we didn't have anything resembling a traditional scoreboard.The current scoreboard feels like an afterthought because it was.

@Kaktusfresser The scoring system in 2042 is garbage, and indicative of the original intent of the game as a hero shooter. Why give points for actions you wouldn’t need?

If a team does not handle them, they typically lose and you see triple digit kills from the winner.1 point for a Vehicle Assist and 3 points for a Vehicle destroyed. Since it takes 4 rockets to destroy most vehicles, everyone who damages a vehicle in a 15 second window should get an assist.

Scoring: Why 0 points for support actions?

@Kaktusfresser I don't like the new scoring system either, it's way too basic and doesn't reflect Battlefield as a game that relies on team play.
Supporting your team should be rewarded with extra points, not punished with 0 points on the scoreboard.

I don't understand why they had to change it from the way it used to be which is counting total XP in the game and not just a few specific things.

@Kaktusfresser Not sure if you were around for launch, but we didn't have anything resembling a traditional scoreboard.
The current scoreboard feels like an afterthought because it was.

I also don't like the scoring method this time, it's too simple.

This time also removes the display of kill distance when you kill from a distance.

I feel that many things have not been given proper feedback, which is a bit bad.

I also hope that the team leader's call skill will return, and I really feel that it can increase the atmosphere of the team's cooperative operations.

sadly the supporting actions are mostly bundled in assists

With the return of class system, the XP should be the main score, otherwise, it will discourage support players.

Well, you see, *runs and hides*
They have increased some parts, but most of them all just come back as an assist. Hacking is 'spotting' and if it is destroyed, it's an assist, repairing a vehicle that gets a kill gets points as a repair assit, spotting with soflam, q, pokeball, or spotting seat all just count as assists.
