Scoring: Why 0 points for support actions?

Hi everybody!

I am wondering, why the scoring differs this much from former BF titles where XP was equal to score.

Every action you did, contributed to your overall score on the scoreboard.

In BF2042 only 4 activities are scored:

- Kills: 2 points

- Assists: 1 point

- Revives: 2 points

- Captures: 3 points

But what about healing, resupplying, spotting, repairing, hacking, ....?

They give XP, that's correct.

But why is your effort not scored on the scoreboard?

Please DICE, keep this in mind at least for the next BF title!

All fellow support players are at the bottom of the scoreboard for no reason.

  • @Kaktusfresser the current scoreboard and the weighted scoring is ridiculous. As others have said, it was an afterthought.

They also have never mentioned any planned changes to the scoreboard, so do not expect anything to occur.

There are endless recommendations coming in on all social media platforms and on here and all will fall on deaf ears because new development on this game was done a long time ago (when they broke up Season 1 into 4 seasons).
  • @Adamonic Interesting theory I've not read before.

So you think season 1 was originally supposed to release with 4 new maps?
