Season 1 and upcoming update......

@Adamonic Probably true. Depressingly in-line with what folks were expecting. Still incredibly underwhelming, especially with the extra 3+ months of time they've had to work on the game.

They need S1 to be an absolute banger, and unless the biggest surprises are in store for Portal, S1 is looking more like an unintentionally wet fart. A shart, one might say.

@edgecrusherO0 to me this is textbook on how to kill a game and then point the finger at the players.

90% of the dev team has been moved to other titles since December. It has been very evident by the lack of content over the last 7+ months and with no real updates outside of the fake scoreboard and limited VOIP.

So we are going to have 100 progression unlocks with only 2 weapons to unlock? How many player cards, takedowns, charms, BF Bucks, and XP boosts are we going to get? It feels like those 5 categories will make up 80-90 of the "content" items.

@Adamonic I mean, one of the devs said "the whole studio" (not literally the whole studio, but the intent was clear) was working on the game.

If this is really the best that DICE can do with all-hands-on-deck, I'm not sure what to say. Better leadership needed? Better engine/dev tools? Better staff overall? Who knows, but it's feeling pretty lame and like DICE is a tiny indie developer with a handful of people working at it more than a AAA juggernaut with hundreds of employees.

Hello Games manages to put out more content for No Man's Sky, while working on other games, and they're a studio of around two dozen people. Sure puts things into perspective.
