Season 1 saved the game - check these numbers

LOL, just kidding.  Small increase in numbers (see chart below)  The number of players has increased a bit but I don't expect them to last...

  • We will see. It won't last with only 1 map and 1 Specialist.

It would be nice to get some additional content not tied to the seasons, but it won't happen.

I will give it another fair shot if I get it working but I doubt the new map or specialist will keep me entertained for long.

Might aswell have 0 new weapons because I rarely use snipers and definitely have no need for a crossbow so that's kinda meh

@Daeyon-be The weapon additions are underwhelming at best, although the BSV is basically a Val and seems decent. 4 had the bow and arrows which was fun for a bit, and also embarrassing to die from lol so the crossbow isn’t a big stretch. The map is really great, with CQ areas and sniper alleys. The biggest shortfall is only 1 map. More maps are definitely needed if they wanted to “save” the game. The TV missile is fun yet underpowered, which is probably a good balance. Overall S1 is a welcome addition, it’s a shame that it took 8 months to get to a release level of game.

@Adamonicthere is supposed to be some mid season content from what I understand. Reworked map, additional portal stuff, maybe portal guns in aow.

The map is really great and caters for many styles of gameplay, a good allrounder.

If only they had given us 3 more maps of that quality it would have been a massive boost and refreshed the game, sadly the one good map will be probably not be enough to attract / retain players

@RayD_O1 Remember when 4 maps was the norm? Those were good days. A reworked map is not “new content”. A jungle map. A water map (get some boats going). An airport map. A CQB map (think Ziba Tower). There are still plenty of choices to make exciting maps. They can look to 3 and 4 for inspiration.

Aye the good old days indeed mate, happy memories, I wonder if will we ever get that true BF feeling back, we can but hope I suppose.

Like you I really looked forward to the 4 map DLC's it was like getting a new game every 3 months wasn't it.
