Nah that's their "creative" team of directors and producers who don't really do anything, but come up with these ridiculous ideas.

It really is frustrating. I largely stopped even attempting to grind it out after getting a couple weeks into this season. I'll complete the weekly challenges within a few rounds then maybe play once or twice again that week and come back the next week. It doesn't help that my crew that I played with for the majority of this game's existence have stopped playing as well, of course.

A lot of other options right now with a bunch F2P.

It's always felt a little weird to me that the more you play, the more points you need to accumulate. I also agree that Dice maybe went a bot overboard with this season.I guess they did it like the rank system where newer players would want some incentive to play, so you would rank up almost every round for the first few before it got incrementally tougher. However, there was a cap. At some point, all future ranks were the same amount of XP. Here it keeps on going up to some ridiculous levels.
atm @ tier 89.6 and working on the weekly missions. still something like 2 weeks ahead so should be fine. but the grind is real ☹️

More than likely but they probably need to go back to the drawing board as it does get ridiculous.
