Feel like you can put a sniper scope on them and pick people off. Those things have some 1 shot range to them
CS source seems to me the only multiplayer fps that got it right
In 2042 the non headshot OHK is too far and the fire rate way too high

Redacted is the only map where shotguns are viable. If you make them any weaker you might as well take them out of the game completely.
I ran the MCS-880 for a while too when Redacted just launched, not because I liked it but more from a if you can’t beat them join them principle
Since they slightly nerfed its range but I still see many players running it on Redacted.
Any weapon/gadget that can one-shot-kill is a problem and their number should be reduced.
Even though they have 'strong limitations', it is always annoying being on the receiving end. BF-games have become less and less fun for each new version, and one-shot weapons/gadgets just adds to the 'cheese'.
For me shotguns, throwing-knifes, Dozers shield and the ntw-50 should be removed or rebalanced (lower damage, longer range and the shield is just stupid).
Shotties and scatter grenades make Redacted almost unplayable just lately. 3 rounds in a row tonight the US team got totally spawn locked trying to get out of A flag because of the scatter grenades and shotties being rained down on the stairwells leaving A (in any direction, inc tunnels). Couldn't get near the stairs to retaliate. The only decent map to escape the helo farming, and it's pain central due to 'nade spam and shotties....
