Since 'All out Warfare' does Not have a Server Browser. Here are Some Solutions.

I'm saddened that the 'All out Warfare' experience does not have a server browser, I've had my share of 'matchmaking' in various games that put me on high ping servers many times and each time a part of me dies inside.
 
I saw the Beta feedback regarding the matchmaker putting players like myself on high ping servers as since been fixed but the solutions I offer are safeguards against that ever happening again in the life cycle of 2042.
 
I offer two solutions since you're unlikely to implement a server browser, and really you have no excuse to not at least try, given that the game is a live service title.
 
  1. Implement a Ping Search Limit setting in the Network Options of the game. This setting should allow the player to explicitly specify how high the ping can be for the matchmaker when looking for a game. This should also apply to Hazard Zone.
  2. Y'all should hit two birds with one stone and implement a check box for Joining games in-progress next to the search button. Joining games already in progress should be optional and not decided for the player.
  3. Implement Server Region Selection. Allow players to select the regions they want the matchmaker to look for games in. This should also apply to Hazard Zone.

    @carsono311It's been verified that 'All out Warfare' and 'Hazard Zone' does not have a server browser but only a matchmaker.

    This is not speculation. 'All out Warfare' and 'Hazard Zone' does not have a Server Browser. Only Portal does.

    @carsono311 Considering the gross lack of official communication regarding the existence of the server browser in the experiences other than Portal, I'd like to ask you what makes you think my suggestions are unfounded.

    We will see on the 12th if my suggestions age like milk or not, upon which I would have created a thread to solve problems which you explicitly denied to have existed.

    @S3SSioN_SoL To be clear, I agree with your assessment of the communication coming from EA DICE: it has been * poor.

    However, you are the one creating a thread based on something that has not been confirmed anywhere yet. As such, the burden of proof lies entirely with you.

    I am fine to wait 5 more days and see what is coming, but I would also wait till then to create threads on my findings.

    How did someone verify that something does not exist? Do you have any reference? Unless it has been officially been confirmed by Ripple Effect or Dice, i call bullpoo.

    Rumors like this deserves no attention, especially not at this time, so please push it back where it came from.

    @TrasteTh We will see on the 12th.
    These suggestions will none the less persist as requests. DICE/EA have only confirmed the server browser for Portal, until they explicitly state otherwise, it is clear the AoW experience will not have a server browser at launch.
    In the absence of a server browser, do you think my suggestions are good? I believe as a community it is important to give meaningful feedback to ensure a healthy life cycle of the game.

    @carsono311 I believe it is important to be timeous when providing feedback. If it turns out to be false then this thread won't matter retrospectively, but if it's true, then they've already read the concern ahead of launch and can consider implementations to help ease the transition away from a server browser for the AoW experience. I think my suggestions will help ease people into the matchmaker and away from a server browser. It will also alleviate problems commonly faced with matchmakers.

    @S3SSioN_SoL Your levels of logic is well beyond me.... So what you are saying is that if anything has not been specifically confirmed, that is verification to you that that it will not be in the game?
    You do you, but don't expect me to believe you.
    I have nothing against whishes, requests or suggestions, I just have a problem when they are based on assumptions or rumors.

    @TrasteThIf you've been following the Battlefield community posts, you will know exactly why such a post is necessary. Just know my suggestions for these implementations are all in good faith.
    I don't expect you to believe me, I expect you to see for yourself on the 12th. If AoW has a server browser then this post will obviously be retrospectively irrelevant but until such information comes directly from DICE/EA you can not say that AoW has a server browser either. I am confident based on what I've seen and read that it does not have a server browser hence my suggestions made in good faith.
