Size of the Insertion Beacon

DICE, what have you done with the Insertion Beacon?? It's ridiculous, make it smaller, and with a good sound so it can be detected by the enemy. 

The Insertion Beacon is a trick on the attacker and the enemy has to track it to find it, they don't have to see it. The one from Battlefield V has perfect sound.

    They've completely neutered the spawn beacon. Completely unnecessary change. I don't think I've ever seen a single person complain about the spawn beacon and I don't think I've never NOT been able to find the enemy one that I had been searching for. Increase its audio range for all I care but now you literally cannot hide it and it gets destroyed within minutes. You got these gigantic maps with TERRIBLE spawn points when you select a flag to spawn on. With such huge maps the spawn beacon should be strong/small to incentivize people to use it and play their own way, not nerfing it... I'm legit mad about it. Please for the love of god revert it or change it in a different way. The flashing rotating barstool ain't it.

    Beacon size ia fine.  It needed to be changed because a tiny little bush made it almost impossible to find.  It is about the same size as battlefield 4 but doesnt have the loud beep that the one in bf4 had.   Sundance mains will have to think a little harder now when putting down their beacon.

    @borroma31 Ive had no issues with it. The original one was way too small. Even if increasing the audio range, there are plenty of times with all the chaos youre not going to catch that sound in certain areas unless it was overamplified.

    But theres plenty of places to put the current Spawn Beacon without it getting noticed. I used it all the time this weekend on Exposure map with no issues. The main reason it usually got noticed was because you could see my squad spawning from it. Hell, had one right behind B behind some crates when the enemy was controlling that zone and took them awhile to figure out we had a spawn point there lol.

    Also sometimes put one around A or between E in the forested area and never had issues there. Allows for quick responses to those points and the beacon could last most of the match. So just need to think about its placement more compared to the last one where I had teammates constantly running by the enemies' beacon when they were right out in the open, in the capture zones lol. They were definitely much harder to see.

    I think you are wrong, the beacon has to be detected by sound, not by sight.

    Today the beacon disappears in seconds, and worst of all, the T1 mastery is the same as before.

    I hope it will be a beacon from the year 2042 again.

    If yours is disappearing in "seconds," youre not doing a good job of placing it.  I have 0 issues with it so far.  Ive used the same tactics as I did in past BFs when dropping a spawn beacon:  find a critical location that allows my squad to quickly react to at least 2 capture points to give our squad increased mobility around the map.

    My beacon still holds up fine with this method.  And I believe the size of the Beacon is only a hair bigger than BFVs.  It still has the audio noise as well though this could be slightly increased but thats about it.
