Does anyone know why my crosshair when using a shotgun is very small? When i compare to my friends or videos online of people using the shotgun the crosshair is so much bigger than mine. No matter what attachments i use it doesn't help. I have also tried to change the crosshair thickness in settings.

@Zelus71 I think you're referring to your FOV (field of view).Go to options, display, video and then field of view. Then lower your FOV and your crosshair will get bigger. The following pics are the difference between 89 (which is the FOV I run at and 50 FOV (lowest setting) Its important to remember a lower FOV like 50 will have much more perceived recoil than a higher number.

@Zelus71 Cross hair size also changes with the ammunition set. Buckshot is a large circle, slugs are a small dot. Different ammo will dictate your crosshairs, are you and your buddy using the same shotty and same ammo?

@Zelus71Are you comparing the same shotguns? All 3 have different crosshair size. 880MCS having the smallest circle out of the 3 shotguns.Also resolution matters. Comparing 1080p vs 1440p vs 4k can have an impact on UI sizing.Just have your friend send you a screenshot and we can compare to that.

playing on 1920 x 1080, i am not sure what upscale software is but if you could point me in a direction to look then i can have a look 🙂 Thanks for the reply

Things like DLSS etc. that upscale the picture to a higher resolution. Very strange, not sure what is going on then, sorry.

Maybe someone else will chime in with an answer?

If you have DLSS enabled in game it automatically upscales the game.

It's so annoying because all my crosshairs look way smaller than everyone elses and no one seems to know whats going on
