Some might have noticed and if you haven't do try it out. That SMG's have higher long range accuracy then sniper rifles in the game. Anyone know if there is any plans to actually make them less effective at long range but keep the effectiveness at shorter ranges?

@mihasha89 So only SMGs are 'working as intended' and all the others are broken?Could it be that ALL the other weapons have their correct spread values applied and it is in fact, the SMGs that don't?

The problem is that other weapons have unnecessary weapon random bloom . They need just fix it .

as for me , I have a situation when I see head of my enemy and shoot three time with sniper - and all three times I miss . Only 4th shoot was lucky .

However, it is apparently out of whack with the other SMG's as somebody has tested. Sorry I've no link but I read they were holding their damage to much greater distances than the other SMG's.

@Rabhimself1986 Did you play battlefield 2042 ?) use AR or heavy weapon ? Or dmr ? I have very good aim and I can’t use those types of weapon , for reason that - it’s unplayable . And the problem is not in the distance . Just look some videos on YouTube and you will find out the problem )

@BicolorZulu It's not just the spread (I much prefer that term, call me a dinosaur if you must :D), but I do agree that everything about the gun coming together is what makes it broken:

Bugged damage drop off.
Innately large magazine.
Decent rate of fire.
Low recoil.
Low/non-existent spread.
Reasonable reload time.

All things combined, it hands-down wins as the best all-round gun.

I see other complain about the SVK 2-shot. I can maybe appreciate this being nerfed for long distance 2-shots but at least the SVK has draw-backs with it's 2 shot (very small magazine, slow rate of fire, longer reload time). SVK does well at its intended engagement range.

The PP-29 excels at all distances - even at longer ones it can outperform DMRs and even snipers, courtesy of its combination of features listed above.
