Sniper Scope Mil-Dots

Something I used to like in at least BF4 was being able to range my shots when using a sniper rifle with the increments on the scope. But that doesn't work in this game. You more or less have to use it a while, then try to judge roughly, and sometimes it requires a hefty bit of luck. 

What is most curious is that the range increments on the M5 recoilless do work, but they don't on the sniper scopes for some reason. 

Can we have this feature back, please?
