I thought the launch maps of BFV were bad, but BF2042 takes things to a whole new (bad) level.
Bfv launch maps were sick, you probably have a gaming chair from the 90s too

IMO, only Arras and Devastation provided great experiences for infantry, others were dominated by vehicles and/or snipers with long sightlines and great vantage points.- 4 years ago

Pretty much every BFV map had flags or areas that were advantageous to either tanks or infantry or were fairly neutral yet you and most of the people complaining about 2042 think the best maps are the ones where infantry have full cover on pretty much the whole playing area which Rotterdam and Devastation come close to doing so.
That's why you players have such a hard time playing 2042 maps even though yet again we have flags that are better or worse for vehicles or infantry.
You seem to want maps with complete cover between every single flag and not have to deal with any vehicles.

BF was more or less build as a vehicle game on large open maps.
Now we have large open maps again, but It could look like that Old BF players do not want specialists and new players do not want large open maps. Difficult situation for Dice.

Panzer Storm was admittedly(by DICE) sorely lacking when initially released.
As with every 2042 map, Panzer Storm lacked cover for infantry. The map also lacked a proper number of transport for infantry throughout the map.
DICE added a ton more cover throughout the map as well as numerous transports at every objective which turned Pz Storm into one of the best maps of the game and perhaps the franchise.

@Flavin913
Fjell was love/hate and didn’t need aircraft at all. That would have been an amazing infantry only experience and the planes ruined it for me and most of my friends.
Narvik suffered from lack of small transports for infantry and turned into a spawn camp about half of the time as a result of the lack of transport.- 4 years ago
That's because your rubbish at the game whichakes killing you in a bomber soo much fun 🤣🤣🤣
- 4 years ago@Psychopski When you abandon a game WAY AHEAD of time, this is what you get. Sad, I know many that would return and pay $20-$50 a year for new maps on a consistent basis. Sell these games to someone with more passion if you are gonna leave them on a server to play and brag about your catalog you should service your games.
