Bfv launch maps were sick, you probably have a gaming chair from the 90s too
IMO, only Arras and Devastation provided great experiences for infantry, others were dominated by vehicles and/or snipers with long sightlines and great vantage points.

Pretty much every BFV map had flags or areas that were advantageous to either tanks or infantry or were fairly neutral yet you and most of the people complaining about 2042 think the best maps are the ones where infantry have full cover on pretty much the whole playing area which Rotterdam and Devastation come close to doing so.
That's why you players have such a hard time playing 2042 maps even though yet again we have flags that are better or worse for vehicles or infantry.
You seem to want maps with complete cover between every single flag and not have to deal with any vehicles.

BF was more or less build as a vehicle game on large open maps.
Now we have large open maps again, but It could look like that Old BF players do not want specialists and new players do not want large open maps. Difficult situation for Dice.- 4 years ago

We have a whole swathe of players who think battlefield is OP Metro and vehicles should be killed with just one click of a button.
Specialists or all class weapons and gadgets is different but from my POV it's just classes with an additional layer on top.
Would I prefer traditional classes? Probably but its not a deal breaker for me. Still plays like a battlefield game, just one that's got a more futuristic tone.
