So few weapons must be an issue
Only two LMG guns and 3 shot guns? Is this for serious or an issue? Maybe I have not unlocked something?

I'd be happy if classes were overlaid on the specialist system, but for gadgets only. Let them keep the ability to use any weapon, as the weapon selection is so woefully limited.
But things like AA, AT, healing and resupply, the various explosives options, can be class based. And probably should be.
