So many bots today
I have 262 hours in this game and I can't even recall seeing a single bot. Today I've seen them filling up the matches I are in, there's like 10-15 of them. It makes the game really uneven for some...

@Ice_ according to Steam stats player numbers have dropped considerably again. They reached a peak due to favorable circumstances (launch of season + free play + Gamepass + etc) and now we're back to steady-state conditions and seemingly people are not sticking around for some reason or another.
I've not really had problems even when the player population was lower earlier. I just comes as a surprise now.
I wish that when people are waiting for people to join, let the server wait a bit longer.
It's filling up pretty fast but it auto launches the round when near 60-80 players out of 128 which I believe makes the server less attractive to auto queue joins because considering how fast it fills up during the waiting stage, the server should have been full pretty quickly while running. 🤔
- @TheseusJason Just a couple thousand less than the last week or so. I'm guessing the patch in Dec announcement didn't really instill hope.

Social media is not representative of society—Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram are full of neurotic individuals. By (almost) the same token, only the faithful post here on this '2042' community forum. I don't think we represent the casual players: I doubt they would go to search for and then read the game's patch notes...
The casual player, IMO, picked up a copy of '2042' to try it out and then somehow got disappointed and dropped it.
(I bought 'God of War' due to the hype and hardly play it anymore as something did not quite click, and somewhere there will be a forum of individuals dedicated to it.)I'm trying to hop into games (conquest 128) and we are literally like 2-5 people, two games in a row. There has to be some issue with the server cluster and it's not offloading players to already started games to fill them up.
I got a full game on third try with crossplay on :S
