Guessing the beta was supposed to be happening right now but they didn't bother forgot to communicate the delay to their distribution partners.

But historically then EA do not open for pre-load until 1-2 days before any of their go-live dates (both beta and final release products).
Should still be ample time though, if you setup your rig/console to auto download, so you will be ready to go from the first minute of go-live and be among the first soldiers to put the boots on the ground in no-pats land! 😎
