So where are all those "Avionics"?
A thing that I find puzzling about the jets in this game is how plain they are compare to their descriptions as well as previous games in their UI
F35E Panther
US multirole stealth fighter, developed for air superiority and ground support missions. F35E upgrade combines CTOL/STOVL/CV variants. Introduces avionic a countermeasures for stealth-defeating radar.
Su-57 Felon
Borrows design cues from the F-22. The airframe takes advantage of reflection-reducing angles and radar absorbing paint to limit detection. Advance avionics package and Mach 2 capability make the Felon a first-class threat.
Avionics
(a blend of aviation and electronics) are the electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft. Avionic systems include communications, navigation, the display and management of multiple systems, and the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to perform individual functions.
Yet outside of detecting locks, a barebones HUD and the radar, there is little more than that.
First of all the jets lack any "predictive sights" where the aiming reticle moves around on the HUD to guide the pilot on where to aim based on how they are turning/moving.
Check how the reticle moves around in BF4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_FMJ5oKTnc
Or why is the hud not somehow marking aircraft that are in close proximity yet. This is another feature that existed in the BF3 single player mission https://youtu.be/C6K_IVtGxA8?t=375 .
I did hear the rumors about how much of a horror show and behind schedule the UI development of BF 2042 was but I really wish we at least had some confirmation that we will actually have future vehicles in our future setting BF game instead of jets that seem to be more old tech than the BF3/4 ones
