[solved] A perfect example of an ill-conceived Battlepass mission
I have a leftover from another week.
It involves getting 6 objective + logistics ribbons within a round.
Because there is a limit of 3 ribbons one can get in a round one has to do both objective capturing and healing/resupplying the living daylights out of the team.
The logistics part reasonable since there is always people with injuries or spent ammo.
But the objective ribbons.... You are at the mercy of the performance of the team. If your team is too good you will have trouble finding objectives that can be captured and if it it too bad you will have trouble capturing any objectives at all. Either way one team will run out of tickets before your third objective ribbon (often annoyingly close to getting the third one)
So right now one has to feel lucky that they will either end up in a round with evenly matched teams so the round drags on or a full progression portal server with very very inflated ticket counts as well as enough people to run the server...
BFV has set a precedent about how bad any missions that need to be done within a round or a life can be. Please consider more carefully how reasonable such tasks are in practice.
PS: Perhaps there is an alternative way to getting objective ribbons with lots of offense or defense kills but I believe the slippery slope issue with the "in a round" and "in a life" objectives still stands
- @Ironhead841 No he is talking about week #9 👿 battlepass points "Objective and Logistics Ribbons earned in a Round 0/6"
Logistics and Objective play doesn't work well for my play style. It is usually either, or.
So I did it with Falck and an ammo crate attacking objectives in Breakthrough.
But yes, objective ribbons depend on your team willing to help with an objective, or a weak opposing team not interested in an objective, but still slowing your team down.
A 6min match on Orbital Breakthrough most likely gives no one 3 objective ribbons in either team.
