I am curious though if they’ve made any effort to get any legacy play testers onboard. You know, the people they alienated, gaslit, ignored, ripped off, who left. Because if they don’t, it’s going to be just more of the same rubbish. An echo chamber of just the people that currently play 2042.
I just can’t see how it would change for the better. Also, data driven development in my opinion is actually utter race to the bottom garbage. Sometimes you just need someone in-house to have the idea and passion to create something exceptional and ignore all data metrics thrown at you. Death by data. Death by finance. Data + shardshareholders kills passion& creativity.
Anybody who's interested in Playtesting should at least let EA know by subscribing to the Playtesting Portal.

There's a quetions regarding your preferred Player Experience Lab for in-studio Playtests. Note: You should ideally be located no further than 2 hours travel away.
In this stage the Playtests might still be in-studio only, which rules me out as I don't live within 2 hours travel of any of the listed studio's.

Next Battlefield is their last chance when it comes to me. They should take lessons from the past 4 years. No more excuses (development during lockdowns), they need to deliver a good product, which shows they have really listened to the community this time. There's more than enough input given already. Just look at these boards alone.- UP_Hawxxeye8 months agoLegend
There are many times where I heard good news only to be disappointed.
This time I will wait for results
