something needs to be done with breakthrough balance

I know DICE has the stats on defense wins/losses and averages on how many tickets they lose by.
There is no way that the data bears out that breakthrough is anything but a mode where people looking to pad their kill stats re-queue over and over to get attack so that they can easily kill tons of clueless defenders.

The mode is not balanced even remotely fairly, but even if it was almost all the teammates you get that actually play the game on defense are ultra casual players who barely know whats going on. Every single breakthrough defense match i actually play will have a half dozen players who go 2-15 type scores and dont seem to actually be doing anything the whole game. You lose every point with 2 or 3 players actually on the point while the attackers just run over the few people who are actually playing the objective.

This mode needs a total overhaul. rethink how the defenders spawn into the area they have to defend. Reduce the amount of vehicles available for both sides. Make it take longer for attackers to capture the objective. There is no excuse for how poorly balanced this mode is. Some maps are better than others. But I would bet that on orbital, once the attackers make it to that final point, its a 90%+ loss rate for the defenders. There's simply no way to stay alive on that wide open point, and then expecting anyone to run back from 300m away before it gets capped? not happening.

Getting matchmade as defender is the most frustrating experience in this game by far and it needs to be addressed. Defenders should be spawning in closer to the objectives in safer areas so that they can get on the point. There needs to be huge, annoying tooltips that tell casuals that the objective is to defend and be on the area with the letter.
