You are absolutely right @Fringerunner ,
The root cause of this problem is that there appear only to be one or two fixed spawn points for each flag/sector we may be able to spawn into. So not like 4-6 different spawn points available for each flag/sector as we have always had in previous BF games. Where then some game logic system is checking to see which of these 4-6 alternative spawn points is:
- where you have most of your own friendlies around
- where you have least of enemies just next to you
- where you have some level of protection
So to enable a reasonable spawn point, where you are not just mowed down by enemies right as you spawn in.
The current kill-harvesting by folks camping in a vehicle just at a singular enemy spawn point is horrible lazy game design.
