Boys, I think even Battlefield 1 surpassed the player count of Battlefield 2042 on steam today. So the numbers are going down rapidly.
@DanielRicciardo Yep it did, but the point of the graph I posted wasn't to show the 24 hour peak player count on steam for BFV surpasses BF2042 as its been doing that for over a week now.
It is to show the average players per day is higher for BFV than BF2042 on steam.
It wouldn't surprise me if the average player count per day for BF1 surpasses BF2042 on steam at some point if they don't make changes, ie - add server browser.
Its a bad look, and the people at Dice really need to make an announcement (ie server browser for AOW, persistent servers for AOW, scoreboard, xp for portal servers) that will bring players back and follow it up with a patch with such items very quickly.
