tanks cant take down helicopters easy in 2042... that just means it's going to be a more annoying experience than bf4.... hopefully we can get tank & infantry only in portal...
and only people with K/Ds less than 2 worry about specialist....

BF4 had the best balance between attack choppers and tanks after the abomination that was BF3 where it was pointless tanking when a good attack chopper crew were playing.
I took out plenty of choppers with my tank in BF4 in 1 vs 1 or at least survived long enough for them to get tired and go bother someone else.
After the beta it appears they need to increase tank cannon elevation and slightly increase tank turret rotation and chopper disable. Again maybe the first hits I got on the chopper were disables but there was no on screen message to know.
I don't use choppers but they seemed to have an endless supply of ammo to keep the attack going but I don't know for sure.

Once you got the feel for it, attack choppers were easy to take out with the tank.
I think they game them a big hit box because I used to pull off some crazy OHK on the choppers at distance.
BF4 was pretty good balance between tanks and choppers, choppers had the upper hand but you definitely always felt like you had a chance and could survive thanks to your APS.
But other than that the balance of choppers vs tanks has been broken since they first introduced choppers in the original BF Vietnam.
BC2 and BF3 were just a bad joke in regards to how OP choppers were against tanks.

@RNM4010028 maybe you should also disclose that you are yourself a dedicated tonker and by nature hate everything in the game that flies!
And that includes all air vehicles like jets, helis, infantry that parachutes in with C4 and RPGs! 😀
but tanks are built / meant for ground engagements
there is the mobile AA and other means
