Specialists vs Maps
I have made a personal assessment to see which specialists are the most or least efficient in each map (only maps of 2042). I considered the efficiency and overall impact of a specialist in a specifi...
Mackay and Sundance also take some of the luster away from the classic maps. There were places on the map that players couldn't get to, so it created natural ground pathing. If you were at a certain point, you knew that ground troops and vehicles could only attack via A, B, and C. That is out the window with Mackay and Sundance. That takes away from any type of strategy, which is what made Battlefield great. I think about a map like Argonne Forest, there are places throughout the map that were inaccessible to players, even if they are mapped as out of bounds, that won't stop players from utilizing them as avenues of attack. That would completely change that map.
So if you apply that concept to all the current maps, it is a literal sheetshow. There is no way to balance that access with the map design.
You need to change the title of this. Yet another "Mackay is OP" thread...Angel, Paik, Falk, Crawford and Casper are all equally effective regardless of the map. If you all are getting killed by Mackay too much, slow down, stop running around in the open without checking and pay attention to your surroundings. If you're with a group, (which you should be) you'll see people dying. If you don't see who's killing them, look around a bit. If you're running around alone, well...there you go. People getting into weird spots has been a thing as long as there has been aircraft in BF. Get past it already. There are spots that you can't get to with Mackay unless you jump in, so we nerfing the hell out of parachutes too?

@Echo6EchoThanks for advising lol... enjoy your game mackay lover
Lol far from it. I'm just trying to figure out why everyone is all over him. It's not that big a deal. If one MacKay on team A gets to some point and kills someone, I can guarantee you that there is a MacKay on Team B stalking him. Just because you get killed by one or two of them, so what? You ever play Valpo and someone would chute into the hill between the two A cap points (CQ) before MacKay? He'd be a PITA until someone got an air vehicle and chuted in to kill him. Same concept. Get off his jock. He's no more annoying than any of the other "specialists" none of which should be in the game. I just don't want another character to be nerfed into oblivion because no one wants to die at all ever and want their 1337 K/D and easy mode button.
