@HairyPeechez The network issues are rumoured to be a result of cross play as well. Can you imagine having to code so PC, XBox and PS can all talk?? The aim assist consoles need, including a reduced recoil, to compete against m & k is also pretty sad and basically ends up as a EZ mode.
@ATFGunrAim assist and reduce recoil have been there for many years. As far as I know, BF1 had 70 or 75% of recoil on consoles compared to PC build.
Same goes for BF5 and yet people still complained that BF5 had too much recoilAnd no, split is nothing happening. either everyone is together, or everyone is apart. Picking one over the other is bad for business. They will probably put real aimbot for nipple users like in CoD MW2 to make mk inferior
- @UP_LordPlumber BFV had a lot of recoil I thought as a MnK player. I really think it should have been lower overall and that controller players shouldn’t get any reduced recoil.

I’m kind of a sweaty try hard with a pretty good system, peripherals, monitor, and I get smoked by console players jump shooting me while I’m behind cover all while anticipating them turning that exact corner. The overall latency of my setup is pretty freaking low… if there’s any magic, it’s on the console side. - @UP_LordPlumber I think the difference is that AA was in the games from the beginning, however they did not play against PC, only each other. 2042 is the first true cross platform in the series, where next Gen consoles and PC all play together. As we can clearly see, it’s a mess and isn’t working. 2042 started out with consoles at a reduced level, (either by accident or on purpose only the devs can say) and so we all got used to it sowkring a certain way. S2 brought a major tweak to it, and it was immediately noticeable for PC players who now get melted by consoles who don’t miss. If a PC player had the advantages that consoles are fed, we’d accuse them of hacking. Aim assist, snap, and reduced recoil? Who wouldn’t want that? Now add to that the atrocious desync the game has, and it’s not really a lot of fun. Unless and until Dice resets PC to turn cross play off, PC players will never find a community to play with that are equal. Giving consoles M&K would be a good start, but now thousands of console players couldn’t sit on the couch, and they paid for that privilege and should not have it taken away. Anyway my earlier point was about the inability of the netcode to sync all the platforms and I stand by my opinion.
I hope they do too, mostly because I am tired of the constant bitching and whining about it from the PC guys, every other day there is some new thread about it or about these mysterious god-like "super-powers" granted by aim assist.

The input device being used does not automatically make someone a better player. People seem to have fun keeping this stupid back and forth argument going and unfortunately this series is probably going to suffer for it when crossplay is removed in the future.
