Squad diserter implementation

I have seen a few posts about the lack of gameplay with randoms in squads.

With such large maps, I wonder how simple/hard it would be to incorporate a distance-based alert that gives the squad leader an option to mark another squad player as a deserter.

This could give the player a warning and then subsequent quality of life actions that are annoying, like red screen filter that makes it hard to see or a constant voice or notification message directing them back to target.

I haven't thought this through at all. This is just straight off the top of my head.

Maybe someone else can elaborate or put this better into perspective.

    I like this idea. Maybe the bonus is how fast you capture a point... If your whole squad is in the zone your cap points are boosted by 1 or 2, and you get a small score boost.

    I think the punishment system only really works if you can opt in or out of it.....or if the current system isn't changed. It would essentially be the only way to remove someone from your squad that isn't being a team player. This doesn't help the lone-wolf as they would have to wait to be kicked from a squad. We really need to be able to choose prior to the round starting.
