SRAW is good at one thing and it is not at hiting Nightbirds

Instead it is really good at killing people camping around a destructible corner along with the destructible corner itself.

If you want it to take out Nightbirds like in the trailer, you better make it fly a lot faster and be easier for the operator to see the missile they are wire guiding.

Otherwise it is just good at killing camping infantry rats on roofs and houses.

EDIT:

Welp, better players than me have come to the same verdict as I do. Plus it even visually notifies the pilot even if it is coming from behind. It gives even more warnings than the Liz missile

DICE, this is ridiculous. I consider this insulting to both infantry and towards the pilots

It has the same damage as the M5 recoiless

Minus 1 rocket compared to the recoiless (so 3 hits cannot take out an MBT at full health)

Same reload time as the recoiless

A x4 zoom that makes guiding the missile more of a guesswork than guidance.

Visual and audio cues for pilots. The visual cues are so extensive that they even appear when the missile is outside the FoV of the pilot.

According to someone at the comments it has 300m range.

@MADMAC50K It won’t turn quickly, it’s a slow meandering kind of thing. I’m working on T3ing it right now so have fired it a fair bit by now. There is very little hope of hitting a Nightbird, even less than hitting a pondhawk. The crosshair blocks your vision so smaller targets are really hard to hit. Close range or snap shots are also extremely difficult. The missle also drops a bit on launch before the rocket kicks in, so you have to be standing, definitely don’t launch from behind cover 🤣🤣
  • @UP_Hawxxeye Dont forget the warning signs the pilot gets when a SRAW is coming. Nothing like in BF4, and yet this studio thought it was needed to pet-handle the pilots from their mean new 'threat'.

So I was right to think that the pilot sees the missile glow even more brightly than a Lissile in order to warn them?

This is both droll and asinine.

This is the wost offender in my opinion. Similar zoom issues exist with other shoulder fired weapons too. In previous titles we had much more options when it came to zoom level of these. It's yet another case of features being removed in order to simplify the game design. I baffles me how someone at the studio could have used this weapon and thought to themselves "Yeah...This feels good".

  • If this game wasn’t a hacked together code and environment filled with glitches, exploiting; cheaters and hacks with respect to the developers which expresses uncertainty in there ability to build a good game with the available resources they have which is the message I’m hearing repeated consistently in various ways the chance it gets fixed beyond what uselessness it already is means then the toxic community will complain it’s too powerful so don’t worry it’s fine, is a skilled based problem not the game itself lol

@UP_HawxxeyeYea, i talked with some friends that play and are very good with tows. So, it kind of sucks yes. Little buff wouldn't hurt much imo. But again, it shouldn't match tgm, cause it would down hokums and apaches with quite ease. Maybe good start would be nerf sounds a bit. (One good point was given from one friend is, with TGM you can anticipate and predict helos movements cause pov, with sraw in some distance you really can't tell.) Downing bird i would take TGM all day over sraw.

Edit: And yeah, visibility is busted, high zoom doesn't make sense tho.

For me the main problem is that they marketed the predator SRAW as a tool for the Nightbird in the Haven map. As things stand, this is almost misleading advertisement.

As the video suggested, the most reasonable tweaks are:
1)Reduce the zoom to x1 (or allow for variable zoom)
2)Get rid of audio and visual cues. They make sense for TGM but not for SRAW.
    3) Faster reload time. Seriously.

    4) Longer travel distance if it is actually 300m as some say. I think it goes further though

After that we can do more testing and see if the turn radius is worth writing home about or not

  • The entire premise of this bf2042 game is misleading including its sale as such that violates other licensing requirements and they just have a team of keyboard lawyer warriors that let you hit the a button to accept the dr. Kevorkian style contracts and terms. As I said before everything is fine lol it’s all the players skills problem as they see it lmfao unless your hacking and cheating the game is pretty dull and glitchy.

Assuming most players that play games and have half a clue about what bf chaos actually means:

It was the realism of air to ground&ground to air, with vehicles, with infantry combat, brought to your TV screen complete with environment destruction. This disappointment is camping specialists behind invincible walls that only hackers can shoot you through with one shot death bullets, including fnb hyper Superman speed weirdnes minus vehicles and destruction

After watching others use the weapon it’s almost as useless as the vehicles aiming thrid person and control scheme this season. The staw weapon is easily noticed when flying and very easy to maneuver around simply with standard evasive maneuvers. Seems very deadly to tanks and ground vehicles if they have altitude advantage so far

Assuming that there is no sniper ready to blow up your head while you are busy wire guiding, because unlike with the TGM, it is impossible to fire it from cover.

Even without snipers, its damage is exactly the same as the M5 while you get 1 less missile to use.
