While I always like a variety of weapons, I truly don't know what would be left to add that would actually provide a useful difference versus the existing guns. I think the T/+ system largely decreased the need for a variety of guns with how versatile one can be while running around. Either they'd continue to add more guns that have a faster TTK than the previous ones, or they don't, which leads people to ask what the point was (outside of just something else to unlock/T1).

I imagine bftracker or similar can run a report of the most used guns for each type (including previous games too) to see how much variety is actually used when there are 5/10/20 choices per slot.

Again, I'd love to see more choices, but I'd rather have variation in maps (not that the two are mutually exclusive or even by the same designers and devs)
