Well as everybody keeps talking about Steam stats I thought I'd go and have a look myself.. 47k 7 day peak seems pretty good if we go along with the assumption that Steam makes up 20% of the playerb...

@Tank2042ManBfv peak is higher than 2042 btw... the chart from this post is biased cuz of the free week end from steam.... mister ultra genius
Average of players the last 30 days has been 25k. Only reason for the peak at 47k was the free weekend. The average dropped to below 20k again after the weekend. The Christmas holidays probably give a better picture of the number.
