There are no excuse for putting players in games with less than 100 tickets left, that is brain-dead game-design.
How many tickets should be left? I don't know, but at least > 50 %.

For the most part, games last 20 min, give or take depending on mode
The issue is when people leave game. It short hands a team. That being said, unless the game is near tie, it won’t matter. Most of the time, people quit beca It’s a wipe. So why penalize someone in queue?
