@TTV_AndrosAGAIN If only the servers with persistent to maybe see the same people the next round.
I think it would honestly be better to have the all-chat being mid-round. There's been some times where I get hit by an incredible shot and no way to say "not even mad, nice shot!" or whatever to the other person.

- 3 years ago@Anobix Yes! Omg yes! The silence in comms with the opposing team is so frustrating at times. I think they should think of a way to implement this.

It can be really bad and hurt a lot of players' (new and old) feelings. Granted I've been playing multiplayer FPS games for going on 25 years, so I have long since come to terms with where I stand in terms of skill in various genres [and as I get older and the new kids on the block start being better!].
Ultimately, it came down to having hosted servers with at least semi-active moderation/admins (hopefully not badmins) that can take reports or act on overly toxic chat that isn't already hit by the built in filter (ironic when F-bombs are being dropped mid-game by the specialists... but I digress).
- 3 years ago@Anobix Most of the offensive words are already censored. And I agree with you on having mods, but I don’t think this is viable as it implies an additional cost to the mix. Maybe improving report analysis on toxicity with actual punishment would be great.
But overall this would be a minority of occurrences. The benefits of having a public chat are greater than the * IMHO.
