If one remove the vehicles from the game and make people play with it would be impossible to say that we play a Battlefield. And no, just the name and vehicles doesn't make a BF being a BF. There is a difference between copy pasting the past without innovation, innovating while keeping the heart and the core of a licence .... and ripping appart a licence for the sake of the new generation cool quick hype, aka 2042.
Don't know how it can be more obvious, the game is a failure. Bug are only a portion of the cause. Feedback are saying, this isn't BF. Now you like this new approach, good for you (altho curious to know with what BF you started). But we don't even need to compare with other game and see numbers, EA themselves acknowledged that the game is failure. To consider making it free to play barely a few weeks after the launch speak for a thousand words.
The only argument could be that this new class bring more teamplay, which is false, it does the opposite. Your own gameplay videos show it. Whenever you are not with your friend on voice it turn into an everybody in the squad mind it own business. Which pertty much sumup 2042. People running jumping around at the flash's speed, in fancy (ridiculous) skins.

Also here another exemple among thousands i could show of " randoms " who are not total garbo actually helping and repairing my tanks even tho i am not in their squads ... Having a Proximity VOIP would tremendously help still I see this type of stuff anyday and its the same as previous BF sometime you have terrible team mates sometime you have good team mates
