Sundance Anti Armor Grenade
Am I missing something here? For all my recent games 9/10 of the anti armor grenades has been targeting vehicles in another dimension besides the low HP'ed Tank or Bolt close to me. I have no idea if...

Summarize your bug Sundance vehicle tracking grenages/drones are bugged. They refuse to track ground vehicles and will only chase after air vehicles - even if they are half the map away.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Throw an anti-vehicle grenade at a land vehicle and watch it launch in the wrong direction to chase after a heli/jet the other side of the map.
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to attack ground vehicles with the tracking grenade.
What should be happening instead? It should track the nearest vehicle of any type (factoring in thrown direction and angle to some degree).
The grenades seem to have a preference/priority list of which air vehicles they prefer. I have got multiple video clips since update 3 showing the following. If I have time I will upload them:
- thrown at nearby ground vehicle, completely ignored it and chased an air vehicle half the map away.
- thrown at tank from quite far away, tracked towards it but just before impact changed course (we are talking 120 deg+ course change) to chase an air vehicle that was miles away.
- thrown at nighthawk heli directly above/in-front of me, ignored it completely and chase a jet half the map away.
I will do more testing to ascertain what the priority list is. But I think the drones have gone vegan and won't eat ground vehicles. My guess for air vehicles is as follows:
- US hoverjet transport (name?)
- Any jets
- larger helis
- smaller helis
- ground vehicles ignored completely
Lastly, when (if) these ever hit the damage dealt is woeful. It was ok before but now it just a useless grenade that refuses to hit what you want and if it does hit something you don't even get that "part disabled" message as the damage is so low.
Yeah this is annoying. Had an instance I try to throw it to a Bolte which was literally next to me but instead locked to air vehicle instead. So annoying.
Can't see wether ur being targeted by an anti armour-grenade or an actuall AA missile also whenever you spawn in a helicopter you instantly hear the missile warning from these grenades even when none are nearby also wehenver they do hit it hits for around 25~ dmg if not more so 1 AA would be enough to down a helicopter when hit by these * grenades
The reason you hear lock on and incoming missile all the time is a Sundance the other side of the map threw one of these things and it's now tracking you. However, even when you intend to target an air vehicle they never hit. They are slow that even the slowest Fatboy chopper can out run them with ease.
@burnardburns Got the same problem on XsX since before update 3. Looks like homing grenades prioritize any air vehicle in a 500m/1km radius instead of the ground vehicle I'm aiming to which is 30m away from me. Currently it's absolutely impossible to use it, i hope they will correct this in the next patch. We need an option to prioritize ground or air vehicules. Sometimes i will have a tank 50m in front of me and i'll throw the grenade and it will lock on a heli that is 250m away . This is frustrating AF.
I had thought this was just my problem. Ive had them bounce off of tanks and then shoot up and go for a heli.
