IMHO, I don't think you can assume (unless you have evidence) that everybody hates specialists. And what makes you think that players who like (or are ambivalent about) Specialists are the minority - the self-selecting sample that are these forums is not the best guide. Remember, EA has something we don't - player data.

I guess you can say that every player playing AoW or Breakthrough indeed plays with those specialists. So you'd say EA/Dice can now confirm -- based on 'player data' -- that all players like specialists? 😉
But as we are getting the feedback loop on specialists any minute now (most likely today, given how long this has been announced), we can get a feeling on what the like/dislike (or hate/love) ratio is, right?

The same problem will occur with the Specialist feedback loop, if EA only asks forum contributors. We are not a 'random' sample. I wonder if this is why EA ran that little survey a couple of weeks ago? It didn't just go to forum contributors (I didn't get an invite, either).
