@Verixl The profanity filter is a really weird thing in BF. You should be able to toggle it on or off.
Proximity VOIP is a really neat thing. My first real experience with it was in Hunt: Showdown. It was really cool and it was a shame that 3rd party VOIP was used to circumvent the feature.
The only drawback I see to it in BF is that technically different factions speak different languages and probably couldn't or shouldn't understand each other. I am not sure it fits BF as well as it fits in a game like Hunt.
