Switching specialist & loadout

I’m on  ps5 using controller. 

In battlefield 4 I can quickly switch between the class&loudout, in like 1 sec. at his is because my loudout is a part of the class I’ve chosen to play. 

In BF2042 it takes for * ever because the loudout is not tied to the specialist. So I have to select the specialist, which is a pain, and then select the loadout, which is just as bad as selecting the specialist. 

Now I get it that some people might want to be able to just switch loadout. So I appreciate it might work for you. 

but there has to be some way of making the UI for specialist and loadout selection soooo much better.

I can live with specialists, but seriously I want to set up the specific loadout for each specialist. And when I select the specialist mid death I want the loadout to be selected as well. Perhaps give an checkbox option for a specialist to always use a particular option.
