Tank vs jet

Question

Hello,As I was very fond of in battlefield 5 and battlefield 1, there are precious few moments, when as a tank operator, I can actually get the targeting right or the plane Flys at me head first and I nail the shot. This is an incredibly satisfying feeling. However as I have just managed to do it for the first time in a long time in battlefield 2042... the plane/jet survived the shot... WHAT?! in previous versions it was most certainly an insta kill when a tank lands a shot on a plane. There is no amount of modernization that can convince me a modern jet wouldn't explode into smithereens if hit by a tor tank (as I hit the thing with. The special heavier vehicle ammo too). Please for the love of God fix this. I got 40 vehicle damage and "engine disabled".. really?! Just the engine? Give me a break. Reward the chosen few who can hit a jet with a tank. Insta kill. Do you by any chance recall what type of aircraft it was? In my experience the jets (Panther and Fellon), the Nightbird and the stealth choppers (Huron and Hannibal) all are one hit kill with a tankshell.

The Condor, Hind and attack choppers (Apache and Alligator) are heavier armored and require multiple hits.

I’ve not been able to hit the stealth bomber (Draugr) with a tank yet but I expect that should be a OHK as well.
