Will Future 2042 be able to reduce its game size?
Both Hell Divers 2 and The Crew 2 have managed to shrink their game size by more than half, while Battlefield 2042 is even larger than two BF6 combined.And after separating from Warzone, the size of COD has also shrunk significantly. I think it's appropriate to compress the game size moderately, as there will be more and more game updates in the future for bf6. Using 2042 as a test case for compression is an excellent choice.🧐
Punch of scammers
Today i thought that i'm going to give a try and play BF2042. So i bought the game, made EA account and started playing. Did tutorial part and were able to play ONLY one Conquest with bots and i was banned. I really though that this new anti cheat team is doing some good here but apparently not. Total of 1h and 8mins of play that i actually really enjoyed. Shame on you EA
Urgent Concerns Regarding Cronus Zen and Cheating on EU Servers (PlayStation)
Dear EA Representatives, I am writing as a dedicated player who has been playing your game for nearly three years. I’d like to express my growing frustration regarding the rampant increase in cheaters, particularly those using the Cronus Zen device. This device is being widely used, especially on PlayStation servers in Europe, and it is severely damaging the experience for new players. Many newcomers, after being repeatedly killed by cheaters using Cronus Zen, simply give up and quit the game — understandably discouraged by such an unfair environment. This not only harms the current player base but also prevents the growth of a game that already has a limited community. Despite reporting around 14 players who were clearly using Cronus Zen, all of my reports have been closed without any follow-up or clear action. It makes me wonder — is using Cronus Zen now the only way to compete in this game? I am more than willing to provide usernames of players using this device on European servers. Some of them are even streaming themselves using Cronus Zen live on popular video platforms, clearly showing how they fire without recoil to gain an unfair advantage and attract followers through cheating. If you wish, I can also share links to these players and their streams with your team. Frankly, this situation has made me lose the motivation to play. It’s frustrating to see blatant cheating go unchecked, while legitimate players are pushed away. Do you have any plans to take serious action against Cronus Zen users? Will there be stronger enforcement going forward? I also understand a new game is in development. However, many of us fear that this issue will carry over unless there are major improvements to anti-cheat systems. Lastly, I want to highlight the current state of European servers, especially on PlayStation. During the daytime, it's extremely difficult to find matches — a clear sign of player base decline. Re: Is it me or anyone else constantly in defensive side in Break Through Mode?
Same here, It's so annoying, while matchmaking they should let us change faction, even if just 1 time, not that the game needs that, but, like you, i'm always in defense side, and in objectives like destroy COMS we can only do it as attacker. P.S. i just got 10 times in a row in defense, how stupid is this? i keep leaving the game at start because i don't wanna play defense.
Breakthrough Server
At some point Dice is going to need to allow for portal full xp experiences or stop creating more breakthrough servers when the exisiting aren't full to begin with. I am so sick of having a solid server, finish a match hoping to rollover to the next only to sit and wait to fill another server. exit out of that and resart matchmaking and boom! im where i was to begin with. Conquest is trash, most other game modes are trash. Breakthrough is the only true objective match that minimizes the nonsense of the game. please for the love of god just fix the matchmaking for breakthrough, allow more full xp portal servers or idk bring back War Machine so at least we can play vs bots for full xp and have a purpose to play the game. theres no reason to play the game if there arent small goals like weapon tiers or ranks if youve already unlocked everything. for the record, im not paying full price for bf6. i bought bf2042 for nearly full price only for it to be like 7 dollars on a steam sale a month later and it took years for bf2042 to fix half the bugs. ill wait on bf6
empty EU servers and 1 minute countdown
empty EU servers bad map cycle 1 minute countdown is wasy too long to start a match, as if a lobby has gained enough playes during this minute half of the lobby leave .. still no map filter for official match maker no 64 and 128 match maker seperation still reported cheater still run around, just the very blatant aimbotter are banned with an email notification
