Tanks have loadouts that you assign to them. The type of round, the defense mechanisms, the coaxial machine gun and the sort. What I hadn't noticed until now, however, is that tanks will retain the loadout of their first driver, and not swap when the driver changes. In short: if a newbie gets out of his tank, and I take control of it (having all the upgrades for it), the tank will have a basic loadout.In my opinion, this shouldn't be like so and should instead be reverted to having tanks change depending on the driver. It makes them much more combat effective in the chance that a good tanker takes one left on the field.

This happens with all vehicles. You steal a vehicle from the enemy you get their loadout. Working as intended. It would not make sense for it to automagically have your loadout after it was spawned or called in with another persons loadout.

@xmohawkxxx Bro, If you stole a enemy vehicle, idk bout you but one of my main objectives is to keep that vehicle alive no matter what, Gives your team the extra fire support, and also keeps the enemy team from getting a tank, no need to be so rude, If you dont like how someone plays then you gotta get a grip of yourself >.>

@SgtGhost57 Its always been like that, I dont think it should change either, and also, BF is known for its Realism, so it is a valid excuse, It would be stupid if a driver were to pick a certain cannon (cause all cannons are different from each other and have different models from one another) and someone else took the driver seat of the tank, and all of a sudden its a completely different cannonI feel like it should stay

@CountSeroI stole a Russian tank on Orbital over the weekend early on in the round and it had the default setup, so no instant repair or CM smoke.I survived the entire round in it just maurading all over the map because it was a free tank and I threw all caution out of the window. It was pretty funny watching the scouts getting angry trying to take me out and get their tank back especially after I blew one of them out of the sky! He then came back with AGMS and I introduced him to the the rocket launch underpass.So many good times tanking in this game!

Tanks don't swap loadouts based on driver.

You bring realism in a game that has very little of it. That's not a valid point or excuse.

I do adapt. I'm not whining about it, but instead giving feedback on why I think it shouldn't be like so.

@SgtGhost57I’m happy the way it is and feel it’s the way it should be.
Captures go both ways and a powerful tank given to the enemy is not a good thing.
I see them driving what ever to where ever and just hop out. A tank just yesterday on a highly contested point.
Luckily I hoped in before the enemy did.

@Tank2042Man You survived because you are one of the biggest tank camper I've ever seen. In previous topic you made one mistake- you revealed your nickname. I checked you on Battletracker BFV. For entire round you made 10-15 kills and 259 score/min...You are camper and you have 6,88 KD. It's unreal for me.. You can report me, I don't care but face the reality. Because of your stats, your opinion here ( for me) doesn't matter. Insignificant. Bye

@Johnathan123YT I remembered it differently then since I know BF4 had it implemented and I think BF3 did as well.

As per realism, yes BF is known for it but 2042 has dropped altitude in that department.

Anyway, this is an argument more for the sake of gameplay and less for the sake of realism.

Whatever then, I'll drop and roll with it. Like I mentioned in one of the comments above, I don't mind, was just my two cents on the matter.
