it is basically useless against anything in the game.slow turret turn.reduced splash damage.no APS(add APS pls)no cover against air vehicles on opened maps all your cover is smoke.1 c4 drone ure dead and everybody can equip recoilless m5.i dont want to choose bolte over tanks.tanks supposed to be strong.im not saying make it op.just balance it the way it is in previous battlefields

@gridsquaresMy main suggestions to improve tanks.1. APS. It would alleviate some of the issues the tank faces with more threats than ever.2. Increase splash damage on main shell. You need to run the main shell to compete with other tanks but you then have experienced infantry who mock you as they can hide behind the tiniest piece of cover safe in the knowledge that only a direct hit will stop them with minimal to no splash damage to worry them as they easily reduce your health to 25% with their 3 M5 rockets leaving your tank vulnerable to any other enemy in the vicinity.3. Increase tanks turret elevation and turning speed to give a fighting chance against attack choppers.To sum up, just go and copy BF4, it's not like Dice have to invent anything new!

Yeah the tank is in a pathetic state. I mean soldiers can actually tank a tank shell. That shouldn't be happening.

@II-LAZZARUS-III am not against your suggestions, mostly because I have little experience with the Bolte and Hovercraft.However I can assure you that the tanks are underwhelming and underperforming in the current state of the game. They are best at being bullet / rocket sponges unless you want to try and snipe, which is not PTFO and is boring.

@ragnarok013 Yeah, now we just need to improve elevation and make the secondary a bit more punchy and I think the tanks will be in a decent place.

@carsono311 Definitely. A real MBT can elevate its main gun quite high in order to engage choppers. In 2042 the elevation needs a drastic improvement.

Anti-Armor Grenade should have little effect on tank and missile and rocket damage needs reducing.

Simply nerf or remove that OV-P/C5 Exploit to one-shot tanks, even in normal mode, and all will gonna be/become balanced again soon..

@CosmicTimeKeeper currently the anti armor grenade does zero damage on ground vehicles if there is even a single enemy aircraft on the map. It will say nope to the ground vehicle and go for the aircraft, no matter the distance diffeence or how hard I try

what, not really.

In BF4 you needed only two RPG Rockets to blow a tank if you hit him in the right spot. From behind for example cause the armor was weaker.

Now you need 4 Rockets, we only have three. so two mates are always needed.
and with all of these Bolts, Tanks and Hovers, almost always 10 to 20 people die before you get one down.

So NO, dmg reduction is not the best thing to do.

I and problably most of the gamers die more often because of all the vehicles and Helis then fighting against soldiers.

@sammychch Check your vehicle settings. My turret was excruciatingly slow until I found the setting to increase the speed.
