@Dez_ZR1-VIPER To repair the brawler you still have to stand up exposed in the rear hatches, where you are extremely exposed. You’re also at the mercy of the driver who with a wrong turn will get you killed. When repairing a tank from outside you can choose which side. I tend to get up on the back and lie down behind the turret. I’ll survive a surprisingly long time doing that. I’m not that much more exposed than standing in the Brawler. Of course a tank can drive away and leave you standing there with your tool in your hand… where you’ll most likely immediately die. That just a bad tank driver.

ATFGunr, thank you for your reply and your comments are interesting.
Please note I've spent a lot of time repairing the Brawler sitting in the vehicle and I am able to survive significantly longer compared to repairing an M1-Abrams or Russian tank outside of it. This is why I argue there needs to be changes implemented with Engineers in the context of repairing the tank outside of it.
Tank battles are more fun when a good Engineer plays a factor.
