@RUMPLE9 I believe it is also just a case of tunnel vision on the part of medics. I can understand not rezzing someone down out in the open but when they stand on my body behind cover and just keep shooting, well then they're just idiots tbh.

Yeah agreed, especially if it's one of your own squad mates who you personally just revived a few seconds before then they just abandon you.
Don't really think the animation is totally to blame and its just as likely to be down to selfish or oblivious play. Lots of people don't revive in the older titles without an animation as well.
